Christmas cookies turned out fine. There is a huge pile of gifts under the tree. My perfect little angel is coming tomorrow. Life is good. Merry Christmas everybody. :)

Good and bad

Christmas shopping is going well. I have more money than I should for some reason, but everything checks out so good for me.

The scale said 76.6 kg, also good for me.

And there's finally snow so it's not so dark anymore.

I think I'm getting a cold so bad for me but oh well.

Getting ready for christmas

Christmas curtains are up. Ornaments have been displayed in a way that is aesthetically pleasing, at least to me, and I'm making headway on the presents. No idea what to give to some people but most of them I have at least narrowed down to a few choices. I'll start baking the various christmas cookies and making candy just before lucia.

I tried a recepie from a magazine a while ago and it's my mom's new favorite. Lemonsquares. I'll make more of those as soon as I remember to buy butter.

I can't update on my weight since my mom's scale broke.

Spending way too much

Got a new keyboard to since the physical therapist says the mouse is made of evil. Got a really cute convenient little thing with scrollwheel and trackball called FK-760. It's a bit annoying that it loses the connection between the keyboard and the computer every once in a while but I can live with that.

I also had to buy a new graphics card since the old one is apparently fried. Which is more money I can't really afford to spend. Especially so close to christmas. But I suppose I'll manage.


In other news the scale said 78,4 kg last time I stepped on it so I'm happy about that.

My sister is annoying

So I'm getting a blog becuse my sister keeps pestering me to get one. This will likely be a mix of recepies, knitting, weightloss, weird dreams and other things of no particular interest to anyone but me and my immediate family.

On that note: I'm 80 kilos! woho. and the jeans I bougth last spring are  uncomfortably loose.
