My uncle died this saturday, he was 78 years old and died of cancer.

Worklike experience

Well my first week of my worklike experience went fine. I'm stacking boards. Not the most stimulating but perfectly doable. For those who wonder a worklike experience is like a job where you don't get paid.

Jacket

Finally found a new jacket that worked for me and bought it. Strangely enough in the store there were three jackets I liked in my pricerange. Where there have been none in a dozen other shops. Oh well at least I have one now.

Shopping for winter jacket and a rant on the poor design of said jackets

Went shopping for a new winter jacket now that everything is on sale. Found a lovely coat that turned out to be far too expensive even at half price. Then found a beautiful red jacket in the model I like with lots of pockets in the configuration I like. It was like someone had listed everything I want in a jacket and then made it. ONE SIZE TOO SMALL. I am not happy.

Why do they make jackets with super small sleeves. I mean the one I'm using now is a small, it's modified, but not in the sleeves which fit just fine. Still when trying jackets 90% fit except for having too narrow sleeves, and I'm trying on L, XL and similar sizes. What do they expect people to be fat everywhere EXCEPT their arms? Are they designing for snowmen? Who has a round torso with thin arms? Clothes manufacturers and designers are morons.

Christmas cookies turned out fine. There is a huge pile of gifts under the tree. My perfect little angel is coming tomorrow. Life is good. Merry Christmas everybody. :)

Good and bad

Christmas shopping is going well. I have more money than I should for some reason, but everything checks out so good for me.

The scale said 76.6 kg, also good for me.

And there's finally snow so it's not so dark anymore.

I think I'm getting a cold so bad for me but oh well.

Getting ready for christmas

Christmas curtains are up. Ornaments have been displayed in a way that is aesthetically pleasing, at least to me, and I'm making headway on the presents. No idea what to give to some people but most of them I have at least narrowed down to a few choices. I'll start baking the various christmas cookies and making candy just before lucia.

I tried a recepie from a magazine a while ago and it's my mom's new favorite. Lemonsquares. I'll make more of those as soon as I remember to buy butter.

I can't update on my weight since my mom's scale broke.
